Kudu
MALPEPO Safaris ligger midt i Karoo området i Eastern Cape. Her findes den tætteste bestand af East Cape Kudu på grund af en biotop som er særlig velegnet til disse dyr. Området er semi dessert med kun periodisk nedbør hvor planter og buske som for eksempel "Spekboorm" findes. I tørke perioder overlever kudu'en af buske og planter.
