Malpepo Safaris offers travels to South Africa with a special focus on wildlife hunting of more than 40 different species on our own land.

We have naturally occurring flocs of Great Kudu, Springbok, Mountain Reedbuck, Steinbuck and Bush Duiker. We also have access to the 6,000 ha. On the neighbor farm, on which it is possible to hunt for e.g. Eland.

In addition, you can meet several other species such as Burchell's Zebra, Mountain Zebra, Sable, Waterbuck, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Black Wildebeest, Impala, Black Impala, Blesbuck, White Blesbuck, Warthog, Oryx, Nyala, Sjakal, Caracal and many others.

We are arranging hunting travels in our own area, but if you are interested in other species than those you find on our lands, we are happy to arrange hunts in other areas outside the farm. It is also possible to arrange hunts for The Big Five if you are into extraordinary trophies.

At the farm you will be accommodated in newly build 5-star luxury apartments including spa, air-condition, minibar, TV, free WI-FI and a quality queen-sized bed.

If you are into gourmet-food and quality wines, you have come to the right place. Our kitchen offers a 3-course dinner, light early breakfast before hunting and brunch after, along with a nice lunch in between the hunts.

The hosts, Lene and Poul, wish that all guests get an experience beyond the usual, and are ready to nurse you right from your arrival until your home travel.

It is important to us, that the hunts are done right. Therefore, we do not hunt from vehicles, as it is our belief that this gives the best experience.

Your life's hunting adventure awaits you

Your entry into South Africa will take place at OR Tambo Airport (Johannesburg). This is where you need to clear your weapons before traveling to Port Elizabeth.

A MALPEPO Safaris representative will be at Port Elizabeth Airport to meet and greet you as you arrive. Then there is a good 2-hour drive to the MALPEPO Safaris lodge.

Tours and excursions

South Africa is a land of opportunities and it offers a wide selection of fantastic experiences. Are you into action and adrenalin? South Africa offers both bungy jumping, helicopter flying and whale safari. But if you are into more calming and relaxing experiences, we would like to recommend a trip to Cape Town or one of the many fantastic wine yards in the area of Eastern Cape.
