Springbok, Common
The springbok is a classic African species which most people want to hunt. With the beautiful markings and lyre-shaped horns, you get a nice trophy to your home. They mostly move in flocks of between 50 and a hundred. There are always a pair of attentive eyes, ears or a nose that detect "danger on the move"
The springbok is therefore often very difficult to get close enough to be able to deliver a safe shot. The larger males that have been rejected by the herd often wander around alone and are therefore easier to get hold of.
